More about Paddle Up Pickleball Club

In 2023, Paddle Up Pickleball Club opened in Lake St. Louis, Missouri with 95 founding members, nine indoor courts, and a program-driven model designed to give players of every level a consistent place to compete, improve, and connect.

From opening day, Paddle Up chose CourtReserve to run their club. With a platform built to support their vision, the club scaled quickly, outgrowing their original nine-court facility within two years and opening a second location in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Today the club spans three locations — Lake St. Louis and Chesterfield, Missouri, and Quincy, Illinois — with 37 courts and reservable spaces across all three facilities, a pro shop, pickleball simulators, and a network of outdoor partners throughout the St. Louis area.

Rather than leaving court time unstructured, Paddle Up operates a steady schedule of open play, organized sessions, leagues, and tournaments that gives players structure, consistency, and a clear path to improvement.

CourtReserve makes it possible to run that kind of programming reliably across multiple locations, keeping the calendar full, the sessions organized, and the experience consistent for every member. Using the platform, the team builds, schedules, and manages a full lineup of programs across all three facilities without the administrative burden of juggling multiple systems or spreadsheets.

The same centralization extends to memberships. CourtReserve's Network Memberships means one Paddle Up membership covers both Lake St. Louis and Chesterfield, giving members access to two facilities without separate accounts or duplicate fees.

Paddle Up also uses CourtReserve's Public Booking feature to bring in players who are new to the club or not yet ready to commit to a membership. With a shareable link, anyone can view availability, register for an event, and pay — no app, no account, no membership needed. It's a low-barrier entry point that makes it easy for newcomers to find their footing and keep coming back.

What started as a local pickleball club has naturally evolved into something bigger as relationships have deepened. Players form friendships, build routines, and develop a shared identity that extends well beyond their home facility.

Paddle Up organizes destination pickleball trips to the Caribbean, where members play, compete, and connect in new environments. The community travels, grows, and stays engaged year-round — both at home and on the road.

Three years in, multiple facilities deep, and a community that travels the world together, Paddle Up shows no signs of slowing down. And with CourtReserve on their side, they don’t have to.
